- Collecting samples of liquids, solids, and gases from various wastewater treatment and industrial processes using appropriate sampling procedures
- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses of samples using Environmental Protection Agency approved Methods and APHA Standard Methods
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, dissolved oxygen meters, pH/ISE meters and electrodes, autoclaves, analytical balances, drying ovens, muffle furnaces, turbidimeters, incubators, baths, and phase-contrast microscopes
