  • Conduct Laboratory testing and record keeping for the Water Reclamation Facility and inspect and collect samples from industrial and commercial facilities for the Industrial Waste Pretreatment Program in compliance with City, State, and Federal Regulations
  • Collecting samples of liquids, solids, and gases from various wastewater treatment and industrial processes using appropriate sampling procedures
  • Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses of samples using Environmental Protection Agency approved Methods and APHA Standard Methods
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments such as spectrophotometers, dissolved oxygen meters, pH/ISE meters and electrodes, autoclaves, analytical balances, drying ovens, muffle furnaces, turbidimeters, incubators, baths, and phase-contrast microscopes
