Summary

My management experience for more than 23 years starting since year 2000 when I was Khartoum sales department Manager I manage more than 450 employees and about 15 sales offices. And after that from 2004 till 2020 I was a manager for inside grid sales that managed about 10 states including Khartoum state which is capital which itself consists of more than 32 offices. In this period as I was a chairperson committee we stated the call center standards for electricity consumers. And from 2012 till now I am directorate manager for licensing and tariff. In this regard I contribute in putting electricity regulation policy, performance key indicators for the electricity supply chain, participate to write down electricity codes, …etc. My practical experience start since 1986 as a teacher for mathematics and physics at high secondary school for one year, and I worked as a part timer lecture for computer science and computer programming languages at Gezira college for about three years then since 1988 to 2000 as a computer system analyst and programmer. Manager and Inside Grid sales directorate manager and Off Grid sales directorate manager which were dealing with customer services management ( billing system, customer electricity connection, customer problem solving) and dealing with electricity classic and prepaid metering systems and managing resources and inventory - (Equipment, tools and accessories related to classic meters replacement process and low distribution network enhancement) - for the classic meter replacement and customers connections and complains, write down electricity sales bylaw that organizing the relationship with the consumers. From year 2011 till now working at Electricity Regulatory Authority in different activities such as Electricity Codes for (Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Energy, Buildings code) Licensing, Electricity Tariff Modeling and Study, Power purchase Agreements, share in writing bylaws of Generation, Transmission, Distribution activities, electricity policy. Write down transmission code, distribution code, key performance indicators, electricity policy, safety and environmental rules. One main issue as I member I contributed to write down load dispatch center rules for optimum operation including economical operation. For the renewable energy I contributed to write the renewable energy code that support the wind scheme or solar scheme to be connect to transmission or distribution network. And during this period we as a committee we wrote down electricity efficiency law. As I a regulatory member we state electricity policy concerning electricity procedure as example I am a member putting grid code, distribution code. Also I contributed to write distribution safety rules, inventory safety rules, and the safety rules concerning the environmental indicators for the power stations. I contribute as a committee member to write down performance key indicators which is one of the monitoring the power supply chain from the generation, transmission, and distribution. As I am a working at regulator we established electricity policies firmware, national electricity procedures, electricity act, energy efficiency act which involve efficiency and renewable energy, generation, transmission, and distribution bylaws which manage the relation between the regulator and the companies and also the stakeholders . The regulator also responsible to protect consumers and then state procedures and form at websites or offices to let the consumer introduce their claims. And also advertising to consumers for optimum electricity usage and direct them to more efficient electricity appliances and equipment. For renewable energy especially solar energy as a regulator we wrote down two bylaws for small scale and large scale to permit any consumer to invest in solar energy and how to connect the to the network.

One of main issue is training of the trainees and how to drive the course outlines for them and how to make successful workshops and the courses mentioned in my CV shows that. As a manager for more than ten years dealing with more than 2000 employees at electricity sales departments I have concert ability to put employees indicators by which to facilitate employees inspection on regular basis and how to evaluate employees performance.
