Schedule patients, educate patients on oral hygiene, assist with oral hygiene talks at local schools and head starts, chairside assisting, take x-rays, disinfect, set up for procedures, sterilize instruments. I've also completed advanced training for cleanings, basic training for restorations. I've helped organize and create a health career camp and participated in it last year as well as this year and planning to continue in the future. I organize and participate in doing dental screenings for local head start programs and FACE program. I start and assist with applying N2O2 for pediatric patients. I make mouth guards as well as space maintainers. I take primary impressions for different procedures. I also help train assistance for on the job training. I've worked as an assistant for 19 years and have enjoyed helping others.

I have worked at Walmart for the past 7 years and as a CDA/RDA for the past 5 yrs so I consider myself a very dedicated employee. I feel privileged to be able to assist a Pediatric Doctor. One accomplishment I have is becoming a certified CDA/RDA.
