  • Performing electrical networks studies in order to analyze the network problems and to plan the network Operations, These studies includes: Load flow, Contingency analysis, Outages scheduling, Faults & Short Circuit Studies and reliability analysis.
  • Performing preventive annual maintenance, corrective and urgent maintenance for different electrical components: transformers, and lines and bus bars.
  • Monitor the network applications programs such as State estimator and other application which used as assistance analysis tools for making decision especially for outages forced outages.
  • Supervision of DTS (Dispatcher Training Simulator) to Evaluate and make training for Dispatchers (operators).
  • Performance reports of National Grid including voltage profile, Frequency.
  • Fault Analysis for transmission equipment. Analyze disturbances in the network by using modern fault recorders.
  • Projects that I involved in: Sudan-Egypt Interchange project: a conducted study to calculate the capacity of STATCOM needed for transferring 300 MW, covering all Contingencies of present and future transmission topology.
  • Low frequency scheme updates studies by identifying suitable loads i.e. conforming with total load curves excluding hotlines loads considering over voltage scenarios.
