Description: Day school that provides education and support to students with autism spectrum disorder and related neurodevelopmental disorders ages 6-22 years old.

• Responsible for managing caseload, administering assessments, developing and implementing measurable IEP goals, daily data collection, writing progress reports and assisting to train new SLPs
• Provided targeted intervention in the areas of expressive, receptive and pragmatic language, articulation/phonological disorders, and AAC needs
• Collaborated with members of a multi-disciplinary team including special education teachers, occupational therapists, reading specialist, behavior analysts, registered behavior technicians and parents

April 2023-June 2024 - Outpatient Pediatric ABA Clinic

Description: Center-based outpatient program providing specialized support for children with autism spectrum disorder and related neurodevelopmental disorders ages 2-7 years old.

• Evaluated, diagnosed and treated clients with a wide variety of complex communication needs
• Assessed and secured funding for Augmentative and Alternative Communication Devices
• Implemented and customized a variety of forms of AAC including: Proloquo2Go, TouchChat, PECS, BIGmack switches, QuickTalker, low-tech picture communication books, etc.
• Utilized evidence-based treatment to target expressive/receptive language, articulation, and apraxia of speech.
• Provided parent and family coaching both in-person and virtually
• Collaborated closely with behavior analysts and registered behavior technicians
• Implemented behavior plans written by the behavior analyst
• Completed authorization paperwork required by insurance, progress reports and developed Individualized Service Plans outlining long and short term goals
• Served as a mentor for aspiring SLP's by providing shadowing opportunities
