  • FTC budget management under FLAs: Ensure budget of FLAs is accurately allocated and reflects requirements for CPs to handle WFP food.

  • Advise activity managers on methods of reducing FTC costs.
  • Invoice verification of all FTC items (in line with the SOP for invoice verification): Create tracking sheet of FLAs under the FTC budget & all associated POs; monitor consumption of POs.
  • In coordination with hubs/field offices, verify paid amounts (variable and fixed costs), i.e. ensure variable costs are against actual tonnages, verifying against LESS & COMET, and actual fixed costs include clear calculations in the invoice and have supporting documents attached. Liaise with Hub Logistics/Programme/AM for any discrepancies.
  • Liaise with Programme on any reallocations between budget lines, ensuring the provision of Logistics approval for any changes affecting FTC. Ensure to track allocations.
  • Ensure all damages and/or losses are reflected in CP payments.
  • Liaise with hub focal point to follow up with CPs and oversee the review and matching of invoices with CPs to speed up the payment process.
  • Support with the provision of training to field logistics and programme staff to extract WINGS reports, monitoring FLA PO consumption, and liaise with CPs to provide invoices and expedite the payment process.
  • Incorporate LESS Last Mile implementation in CP management.
  • Coordinate training to CPs on food transport, storage, and handling (including on LESS Last Mile), with support of relevant units.
  • Coordinate with hubs/field offices to create monitoring mechanism including conduct joint spot checks with Programme to CP WHs and FDPs (as per the Spot Checks SOP).
  • Ensure reporting requirements are fulfilled, including reconciliation between food received and distributed.

  • Achievements: In line with the technical review of Proposals and submission, I have reviewed fifty of nutrition proposals, seventeen proposals of General food Assistant (GFA), eight proposals of (FFA) and seven proposals of school feeding were technical reviewed and shared with activity managers and relevant bodies at Hubs and CO levels promptly.
  • Same line, I have participated ten CPC meeting and shared meeting inputs with activity managers. During the period under review. Also, reviewed more than 69 Purchase orders (POs) that relevant to the FTC and shared with Programme team and relevant bodies.
  • Regarding the capacity strengthening of Cooperating Partners and Warehouse management I have been prepared and coordinated the training for LESS for CPs and logistics team on the field.
  • For my capacity development I have completed Three training, Basic Humanitarian Logistics, LESS training and Fleet management System.
